The activity of ‘AGROSAD’, a company situated in Równa, near B??aszki is based on producing and selling the seed-potato material as well as packing grown potatoes for shopping centres in Poland.

The company started as a smallholding, like most in the Sieradz region, cultivating edible potatoes for an early harvest. The production is carried out with an experienced team of Polish and foreign producers and is based on contractor agreements signed. The delivered potato tubers are, in our company, sorted, cleaned, washed and packaged.
 
 Our campany has several factory floors, a storage house and an appropriate cold store able to load onto trucks fast so as to deliver goods of good quality to the recipient.

Thanks to our own transportation fleet which includes well over ten trucks designed to transport food products Agrosad  in a short period of time delivers the goods that have been ordered.
 
The whole technological process connected with cultivation and packaging  is monitored . We have introduced the HACCP system of control which is used during all stages of production and distribution and the GLOBALGAP system of control in farms we cooperate with. This enables us to take control of all possible risks which is crucial to ensure safety of the consumer and protect their health.

The ‘AGROSAD’ general partnership company has been a family-run business since it started in 1993. At first the basic activity was seed-potato trading, buying potatoes from farmers and selling them to food-processing plants. Next years were devoted to creating a chain of planters , who started producing potatoes for our company.

Systematic work and a lot of effort put by Agrosad and planters together helped to get products of better and better quality as well as achieve higher efficiency.

In 1994 the first storehouse for seed-potatoes and grown potatoes was built.

In 1995 we started packing potatoes into foil (2.5 kg each) for wholesalers and small greengrocer’s.

In 1996 we created our own trademark in order to have our products recognisable and we started packing potatoes into unit packets for supermarket chains.

In the years 1996-2005 the packing station was enlarged along with the storehouse for potatoes. New packing machines were purchased.

In the years 2006-2007 a cold store and a building with offices were erected.

2008 – a cold storehouse for vegetables is being built.
